The Brady Readery—a veteran and woman owned small business—will be a local bookstore and community space in Laytonsville, MD. Our mission is to provide a quality selection of new and affordable used books; personalized recommendations; consistent community interaction; and space to foster a love of reading in people of all ages. We believe that reading cultivates empathy and encourages curiosity. We are committed to sharing these values with our neighbors.

As our town does not have a library or bookstore, we aim to make The Brady Readery an integral part of our community—a space for children’s story time, book club meetings, author readings, birthday parties, and curated book boxes for the whole family. As we grow, we will reinvest in the community via food drives, donations, and charity events to provide flexibility to meet the needs of our neighbors.
