On October 24th at 7:00, the year will magically become 1942. The place will be Casablanca, in the last days of Vichy France. America has just entered the war, and next month US troops will land in Casablanca.

For now, France rules this corner of Northwest Africa. Our murder will unfold in the dining room of the official residence of Huges Le Grandbutte, the Deputy Mayor of Casablanca. Lighting is by candle. Dinner is onion soup, boef bourguignon, melon with port, and brie and fresh bread (or appropriate alternative). Drinks will be served.
